Seniorenwettkampf 2016

Am 08. Oktober 2016 fanden in Flensburg die diesjährigen Internationalen Seniorenwettkämpfe im Rhönradturnen statt. Beim Rhönradturnen ist der Turner schon ab 30 Jahren Teilnahmeberechtigt.

Torsten Lutz vom VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck bestritt die Reise nach Flensburg gemeinsam mit Turnerinnen aus dem gesamten niedersächsischen Turnerbund.

Beim Seniorenwettkampf werden in verschiedenen Altersklassen Kürübungen in allen Disziplinen des Rhönrades geturnt.

Torsten trat in der Disziplin Geradekür in der Altersklasse 50-59 Jahren an.

Er turnte seine Übung nahezu fehlerfrei. Er konnte alle Schwierigkeitselemente mit sehr guter Haltung dem strengen Kampfgericht präsentieren.

Diese gute Leistung wurde mit 4,35 Punkten belohnt. Damit konnte sich Torsten über die Bronzemedaille freuen. Nur knapp hinter ihm erturnte sich Grit Klüver, die an diesem Tag auch den Part als Torstens Trainerin übernahm, vom SC Hemmingen Westerfeld den 4. Platz.

Damit war Torsten als einziger NTB-Medaillengewinner der beste niedersächsische Starter.

Traditionell wird der Seniorenwettkampf mit Turnerinnen und Turnern aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet veranstaltet.  Eingerahmt wird dieser Wettkampf von einem kleinen Veranstaltungsprogramm. In diesem Jahr wurde für alle Teilnehmer eine gemeinsame Schifffahrt auf der Flensburger Förde mit anschließender Stadtführung  organisiert.

Am Abend fand die Siegerehrung eingerahmt in ein gemeinsames Abendessen statt.
